WE LIVE IN A JUDGEMENTAL SOCIETY
If he is a man,he is strong, he has no right to cry, he can’t be weak, he should be the BOSS of the family etc….. And if she is a women, she is weak, she is sensitive, she is made to cry, she should always be in the four walls taking care of the family etc….. Seriously this is what we all have been hearing since decades but is it correct?? No these are some some
stereotypical thinking of our so called ” educated society ” We all are judged and we all judge each other in every possible way like if someone is wearing an Indian dress we title them as” decent”and of someone is wearing a jeans and top they are considered as “spoiled ones “. In our society with different nationalities and ethnicities, we depend on the ability to interact with people primarily through sight. Therefore, we worry about our appearance a lot and how people will “Think of us” or “Think of me” if I spent all day wearing this T-shirt or not matching my pants, and women worry about carrying a well-known brand of bag. Hence, we spend a great deal of time and money tweaking our image to make it more fitting to
others.Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against looking good. But, a judgemental society is not productive and it kills the creativity in us. Why is that? Because we are comfortable in following trends..trust me that a new branded car doesn’t define that someone is having a good character too, but alas that’s what our judgmental society has set.when we judge someone we don’t define them, we actually define ourselves.
